Hey Guys,
Back for another blog! Just wanted to start off by saying Happy Martin Luther King Day! I wonder what plans people have for today. It doesn’t seem like people still look at this day as anything more than a day off of school/work. I remember in elementary and junior high school, the teachers would give puzzles and little mini-lessons about MLK. Now in high school, we just get homework for a 3-day weekend. What do you guys think about this??

I’m a lil late on this blog post but better late then never.lols. i completely agree with you that its just a day where people see it as a day off.honestly i feel like we get too many days off of school, thats why many of us are so dang lazy about everything, and we complain so much about HOW MUCH SCHOOL WE HAVE, and HOW OUR BREAKS AREN’T LONG ENOUGH, no one knows how to appreciate anymore.
P.S Dont let your thoughts of HAiTi leave your mind. remember the mind is a powerful thing, and the babies of this powerful thing grow and make a difference.. all it takes is one baby from the mind to grow and make a difference…
Can you guys post some more thing up, soo people could write a little more on things..I like blogging its just that there isnt alot to really comment on…
